But why do you sell only 1\/3 of the whole soundtrack!? I regret the hasteful buy without checking the description. For me a soundtrack includes all songs, not a selection.Rather download the songs from youtube if you want the complete OST...EDIT: The songs are now completely available with this DLC. Thanks for updating it. Now it's really worth the buy ;). *This review is now obsoleted. They finally included every soundtrack now, so it is finally worth buying. I'll leave this review as the history. If you like to buy a game soundtrack, then this is not for you. It only give you half of the soundtrack instead of all of them. What a shame since Grey Goo OST is great. No idea why they not release all of them or have another pack for sell.. Whilst what music is in the soundtrack is very good, there is precious little of it. The 'Soundtrack' is only a 10 track 'best-of' of mp3 quality music. This selection misses out a lot of better tracks from the game and is by no means worth the \u00a35.59 asking price.Definitely not recommended, you'll have a much better experience using the ingame jukebox and leaving it to run on the menu in the background, or getting a game rip.Since this review, the soundtrack has been patched and should be more worthwhile.. I thought the soundtrack was suppose to show up in my Library with Steam, but it's not there.. I thought the soundtrack was suppose to show up in my Library with Steam, but it's not there.. [EDIT]Now, with the complete collection, the Grey Goo Soundtrack never sounded so amazing. Previously, I was greeted with low quality files and an incomplete package, but now I am satisfied. Though I have gotten the Soundtrack for free at launch, this is a worthy investment for anyone who enjoys the Soundtrack composed by Frank Klepacki. The thing about the folks at GreyBox and Petroglyph is that they listen to the fans. They add new content for free, update existing DLCs and add-ons like this Soundtrack Collection, and interact with the community like no other. To finish, any fan of RTS should get GreyGoo and it's Soundtrack. It is a fantastic RTS made by fantastic people, for the fans of good old RTS.-- The previous statements are made prior to the Soundtrack update, and prior to GreyGoo's release of a story DLC (for free!) --[OLD]I would absolutely recommend the game, but the soundtrack by itself? Not really. Don't get me wrong, the compositions by Frank Klepacki were beautiful, and is one of the best OSTs for games I have ever heard. The problem is in the packaging. 192kbps turns down most audio appreciators, and it is literally a "Best of Grey Goo" album, meaning 10 of the best songs in the game packaged into a small album. If only they provided all the songs that we can pick and choose in the game, as well as provide an option for 320kbps or FLAC, there isn't really much to talk about whether it is worth it or not.I bought the game at launch and I got it for free, but honestly speaking it is unfair for them to charge it at this price now, especially for a measly sum of 10 songs from an awesome game with over 20 unique soundtracks.Do I recommend buying the game? Absolutely, but I definitely do not recommend buying this soundtrack package.. good music Frank Klepacki did a wonderful job it's good that this comes free with the gamebut if you are buying it be aware it only has 10 sound tracks which is quite suprising becasue there is 3 times as much music in the game. This is the complete soundtrack to Grey Goo Definitive Edition -- nearly three hours of music, including ALL in-game music, AND the cutscene score, AND the new music for the Shroud faction, at full 320kbps. Note that many of these reviews were written when the soundtrack only included 10 tracks and\/or 128kbps. Those have been rectified. This album showcases the amazing talent of Frank Klepacki, who created all of the Westwood RTS soundtracks (Dune, C&C and Red Alert). From the industrial sounds of the Beta, to the techno beats of the Humans, to the menacing orchestra\/dubstep mashup of the Goo, and finally to the haunting soundscape of the recently released Shroud, as well as a bunch of bonus heavy metal tracks, this soundtrack has so much variety. It is awesome.. Soundtrack is amazing only problem is that it has only few of the tracks, can't really complain since i got for free with the game.. Since I first purchase this soundtrack there has been a major update to it whereby every single track from the game has been added, in high quality and with bonus tracks included. Initially it was released as a collection of the 10 "best" tracks which was okay but not very comprehensive. The soundtrack now includes 4 discs worth of music, which is awesome and now makes this a must buy for any Frank Klepacki, Grey Goo, or music fan.Thank you for righting this wrong guys! :)
